Dr. Stephen Noerper is a global affairs executive with leadership
experience in the public and private sectors, as well as NGOs and
academe. He speaks and networks widely on Asia and Eurasia programs
and has rich outreach, analysis, publications and editing exposure.
He has taught on Asia and Eurasia in the professional divisions of
New York University and Hawaii's Asia-Pacific Center for Security
Studies and as a visitor to American University, Japan's Waseda
University and the National University of Mongolia. Noerper was vice
president for programs at the Intellibridge Corporation, a senior
foreign affairs analyst with the U.S. State Department, and
Washington, DC representative of the Nautilus Institute for Security
and Sustainable Development. His leadership profile also includes the
presidency of St. Patrick's Old Cathedral Academy and the
directorships of the Scholar Rescue Fund and the Mongolia office of
The Asia Foundation. He also served with Hawaii's East-West Center,
the Edward R. Murrow Center for Public Diplomacy, Institute for
Foreign Policy Analysis and WC Stone Foundation. Noerper has
published widely, to include Newsweek International and the Brookings
Institution of late, and has appeared on NBC television, Japan's NHK,
VOA television, Radio Free Asia, Australian Broadcasting Company
radio, Bloomberg Radio, National Public Radio and in US and
international dailies. He holds a Ph.D. and Masters degrees from the
Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and London School of
Economics. Dr. Noerper serves on boards in New York and Washington,
DC and has provided pro bono support on Russia, China, Mongolia and
Korea efforts. In 2007, Dr. Noerper received Mongolia's State
Friendship Medal for service on Asia and Eurasian affairs. He also
has taught on Africa and volunteered on disaster relief efforts in
