|
The Southeast Asia Peace and Security Network (SEAPSNet) is a
non-governmental information network aimed at bringing together
development and security experts on Southeast Asia to share their
analysis, explore ideas and promote dialogue on conflict prevention,
peaceful development and region-building in Southeast Asia. This
information network initiative is launched by the Nautilus Institute and
supported by grants from the Ford Foundation. Singapore Institute of
International Affairs (SIIA) is a partner in this initiative.
The SEAPSNet News is a news summary service that is updated twice weekly
(every Tuesdays and Fridays) by the SIIA. It provides broad summaries
of news reports and analysis taken from newspapers in the region. The
focus is on peace and security issues particularly those related to
terrorism and regional cooperation. You can access SEAPSNet News and
all the archives by entering SIIA homepage at www.siiaonline.org
